Dawn (5:00-9:00) and sunset (17:00-21:00) departures provide magical light. Mist, sunbeams, water reflections - perfect conditions.

Over 140 breeding bird species have been recorded in the Rospuda area, including 28 species listed in Annex I of the EU Birds Directive. The sanctuary has the rank of a European bird sanctuary, particularly valuable due to species extremely rare in the country - the short-toed snake eagle (10-20 pairs) and the short-eared owl (20-100 pairs).

Yes, we recommend your own camera and lenses. We offer stable kayaks and equipment protection (bags, stabilization), but photography equipment must be brought by yourself.
We recommend a telephoto lens 70-200mm or 100-400mm for bird photography. A wide-angle 16-35mm will work for landscapes. You can also use primes 50mm/85mm for portraits.
Yes, we offer rental of tripods for cameras and gimbals for video cameras. Advance reservation required.
Yes, in light rain the trip proceeds normally. In heavy rain we offer to reschedule. We recommend bringing rain protection for your camera.
Yes, all photos taken during the trip are your property and can be used commercially. We would appreciate tagging @kajakowarospuda.
